Role Summary

\n

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with 15+ years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years in hands-on .NET software development and 5+ years in technical program management. The role will lead large-scale AWS cloud migration, modernization, release, and enterprise delivery initiatives from discovery through stabilization.

\n

This is a TPM-led delivery role, not a Scrum Master-only position. The selected candidate will own program execution, delivery outcomes, risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder alignment across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Own end-to-end delivery of AWS migration and modernization programs, including discovery, planning, execution, cutover, stabilization, and measurable business outcomes.
\n
• Drive multi-team delivery across re-hosting, re-platforming, application remediation, data migration, and modernization initiatives.
\n
• Lead program governance, integrated plans, milestones, RAID management, budgets, dependencies, escalations, and executive communications.
\n
• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, and engineering leaders to refine requirements, prioritize work, and translate objectives into actionable delivery plans.
\n
• Lead Agile/Scrum delivery across one or more teams while ensuring ceremonies, governance, and delivery controls support program outcomes rather than ceremony-only facilitation.
\n
• Coordinate release management, including release planning, deployment readiness, change controls, production cutover, rollback planning, hypercare, and post-release support.
\n
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to define migration patterns, remove technical blockers, and validate cloud readiness and remediation plans.
\n
• Ensure alignment across engineering, security, infrastructure, operations, product, vendors, and business teams.
\n
• Track and report program KPIs, cloud readiness, migration progress, release success metrics, quality, risks, and delivery performance.
\n
• Drive timely decisions, remove impediments, manage cross-functional dependencies, and hold teams accountable for committed outcomes.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 15+ years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET technologies.
\n
• 5+ years of experience managing technical programs, cloud initiatives, or enterprise application transformation programs.
\n
• Proven ownership of end-to-end AWS migration programs across discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and stabilization.
\n
• Practical knowledge of AWS Landing Zones, account migrations, VPC, IAM, RDS, networking, security, and cloud governance.
\n
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, application remediation, data migration, re-hosting, re-platforming, and modernization approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing release processes for cloud-deployed enterprise applications.
\n
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and enterprise PMO governance frameworks.
\n
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder engagement, decision facilitation, risk management, and reporting capabilities.
\n
• Ability to engage credibly with architects and engineers, challenge assumptions, and drive resolution of technical and delivery blockers.

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
\n
• Experience with microservices modernization and container platforms such as Amazon EKS or Amazon ECS.
\n
• Experience supporting regulated, banking, financial-services, or other complex enterprise environments.
\n
• PMP, SAFe, Scrum, or related program and Agile certifications.
\n
