Real Estate Associate

James Bates Brannan Groover, LLP (JBBG) is seeking an associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in the Atlanta office. Our real estate group handles a broad range of matters, including commercial and multi-family transactions, construction lending, and government-guaranteed loans (SBA and USDA). As an associate, you will gain hands‑on experience across all phases of real estate transactions. Responsibilities include: Drafting and reviewing loan documents, leases, and other transaction agreements Supporting due diligence and managing closing processes Assisting with zoning, land use, and title matters Working directly with clients, including lenders, developers, and investors We take a hands‑on, team‑oriented approach, giving associates meaningful responsibility early while providing close mentorship from experienced attorneys. Qualifications 2+ years of relevant commercial real estate experience Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and closing documents for commercial real estate transactions Familiarity with title, survey review, and managing transaction closings Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated interest in continuing to develop and expand within a commercial real estate practice Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing, or admitted in another state and eligible and willing to seek admission in Georgia #J-18808-Ljbffr James Bates Brannan Groover LLP
