The Generator Electrician is a highly motivated individual responsible for executing the electrical components of generator installations in residential and commercial settings. This role ensures installations meet industry standards, pass inspections, and are completed efficiently and safely. The Electrician collaborates with the Production Manager and installation teams to deliver high-quality service and uphold Adams, Inc.'s core values. Job responsibilities in relation to our Company Core Values: Integrity Ensure all electrical installations meet code and pass inspections. Maintain accurate documentation of materials used and installation steps. Uphold safety and ethical standards on job sites. People Collaborate with installation teams and communicate effectively with the Production Manager. Support team members by assisting with generator placement and trenching when needed. Partnership Coordinate with project leads to ensure electrical components are ready and available. Submit material usage and checklist updates to the Installation Lead. Attitude Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented mindset on job sites. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during installations. Excellence Perform high-quality electrical work that meets industry standards. Ensure trailers are properly stocked with electrical components before each installation. Stewardship Safeguard company equipment and resources during installations. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during trenching and outdoor work. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of successful inspections passed. Accuracy of material usage reporting. Timeliness and quality of electrical installations. Feedback from Production Manager and installation teams. Qualifications Residential Journeyman Electrician License or 3,000+ hours electrician experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. 12+ months of generator installation experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working Conditions Field environment with moderate to loud noise levels; hearing protection required. Frequent travel to site locations; occasional evening and weekend work. Physical demands include lifting up to 75 lbs., trenching, and working in various weather conditions. Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
