Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually (DOE) Are you an experienced Production Supervisor with a background in food manufacturing? We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily production operations, drive efficiency, ensure food safety compliance, and lead a high-performing production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals are achieved. Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees and team leads. Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders. Enforce GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, and company food safety standards. Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals and performance expectations. Monitor staffing levels and coordinate labor resources to meet production demands. Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste. Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to improve operational performance. Maintain accurate production reports, attendance records, and performance metrics. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity. Qualifications 3+ years of Production Supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety regulations, and quality standards. Experience managing large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development skills. Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements. Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Preferred Experience FDA-regulated food manufacturing environment. Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma exposure. Experience with ERP or production management systems. Multi-shift manufacturing operations experience.
