MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
Ambulatory Surgery Center
Front Desk Receptionist We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk / Patient Access Representative to join our ambulatory surgery center team. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient service while ensuring accurate registration, documentation, and financial processing. Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone in a professional and courteous manner
- Collect and verify patient identification and insurance information
- Ensure all required documentation and signatures are completed accurately
- Update patient accounts and enter demographic and financial information into the system
- Collect copayments and deductibles; issue receipts and record payments accurately
- Balance daily upfront collections and prepare deposits as needed
- Notify clinical staff when patients are ready to be taken back
- Prepare patient charts for upcoming procedures
- Maintain office supplies, receive deliveries, and manage incoming mail
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations
- Follow all center policies and procedures and report discrepancies as needed
- Attend required education and training sessions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Prior healthcare or front desk experience preferred
