Responsibilities Assembly of skid units and industrial equipment Interpreting assembly drawings and measurements Operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools Must possess good communication and organizational skills and be able to listen to others Must be professional at all times and consistent in personal behavior Must demonstrate knowledge of hand tools and basic production machinery Must be willing to undertake additional training as the company deems necessary to maintain technical understanding of new or improved tools or techniques Must maintain a safety awareness attitude at all times Must be willing to assist individuals from other departments in function testing, hydrostatic testing of pressure components and alignment of rotating equipment Qualifications Some experience working with rotating equipment necessary 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication Experience operating industrial machinery properly Understand measurements and assembly drawings Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines Additional Information Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted/100 lbs. assisted; must pass physical and lift assessment Working Conditions: Shop environment Training/Certifications: N/A Shift Time/Overtime: Day shift, working overtime as needed Travel: Drive to client locations Education: High School Diploma or GED Location: USA: IN: Evansville DXP offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending, 401(k), paid holidays, Life and Disability Insurance, and additional supplemental products.
