Payroll Analyst II

To support payroll processing for a multi-state organization, the full-time Payroll Analyst II will assist in bi-weekly payroll activities, manage payroll inquiries, and ensure compliance with payroll regulations while working remotely for a 3-month contract period. Key responsibilities Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll for approximately 2300 employees, including reviewing timecards and handling wage garnishments Manage the Payroll Inbox and respond to employee-related inquiries while maintaining confidentiality Audit payroll data for accuracy, prepare final and manual checks, and maintain employee records according to submitted action forms Required qualifications B.S. degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience 4+ years of payroll processing experience in a mid-size multi-state organization Experience with outsourced payroll services and Workday, particularly with time cards and absence management Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables Ability to convey payroll knowledge effectively to various stakeholders within the organization
