Location: Cherokee Nation (Tahlequah) Assignment Details Contract Dates: May 11, 2026 – August 22, 2026 Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (exact schedule determined by manager) Call: 2 days per week 2 weekends per month Job Summary We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technician to join a dynamic surgical team within the Cherokee Nation healthcare system. This is a high-impact backfill role , ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment and is committed to excellence in patient care. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments Assist surgeons during procedures with precision and efficiency Handle, label, and transport specimens to the laboratory per protocol Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and surgical instruments Prepare patients for surgery (washing, shaving, disinfecting incision sites) Support patient transport as needed Stay current with surgical trends, tools, and best practices through ongoing education Assist in clinic settings, including: Rooming patients Taking vital signs Managing orders and routing calls Requirements Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required BLS Certification – Required Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent attention to detail and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
