Implementation SpecialistFactSet creates flexible, open data and software solutions for over 200,000 investment professionals worldwide, providing instant access to financial data and analytics that investors use to make crucial decisions.The Implementation Specialist is a subject matter expert in FactSet's products, tasked with deploying FactSet's products by delivering on high-value projects and engagements. Implementation Specialist's primary focus is on ensuring that FactSet's clients are properly set up to get the most value out of their FactSet subscriptions. They are responsible for ensuring data integration and quality, configuring modules within FactSet, building end-user reports and interfaces, training our clients, and supporting users during the implementation process.All work done by Implementation Specialists is project-based and may include implementations, solutions optimization, and other time and knowledge-intensive projects. Implementation Specialists may be utilized on larger and more complex engagements and may serve as mentors for more junior members of the team.Responsibilities:Produce client-facing communication in coordination with the implementation project managerBuild and manage implementation scope and effort estimates.Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needsCreate user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirementsDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suiteImplement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunitiesEffectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industryIdentify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunities during the implementation processShare emerging trends, what is working well, and areas for improvementStudy client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet's productsProvide user training and support the development of training programsFacilitate the transition from the implementation phase to supportRequirements:At least 2 years of experience working with FactSet's Analytics toolsStrong technical backgroundProven technical proficiency particularly in writing complex screening codesUnderstanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions productsCFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferredExtremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big pictureEnthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownershipWillingness to travelLocations: Austin, TX, Boston, MA, New York, NY, Norwalk, CT, Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles and Toronto CADWorking Environment: HybridMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.What's In It For YouAt FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.Being a FactSetter means:The opportunity to join an S&P 500 company with over 45 years of sustainable growth powered by the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up.Support for your total well-being.
