Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Experience working as an RN in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to medical concerns promptly
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• CPR/BLS certification highly desirable
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students seen in the health office
• Assess student health needs, responding promptly to illness or injury
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate individualized care plans
