We are seeking a **Contract Management Specialist** in **Maryland Heights, MO**. In this hybrid role you will lead proposal development, negotiation, contract and non‑sales agreement formation, and contract execution for products and services in the Mission Planning Systems (MPS) portfolio. You will partner with Program Managers, Global Sales & Marketing, and Estimating from pre‑proposal activities through contract award and beyond, addressing areas such as Tax, Treasury, Insurance, Law, and Export Compliance throughout the preparation, review, and approval process. Position Responsibilities Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing, and the licensing of intellectual property. Support requirements definition, planning, organizing, development, and submission of proposals and subsequent negotiation and administration. Develop Proposal Plan of Action; coordinate and facilitate functional inputs, negotiate, and participate in gate reviews and proposal reviews. Present business solutions to preserve and expand the business. Represent the company in external negotiations with a diverse set of customers. Execute contract award and post‑award activities. Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret, and administer legally binding complex contractual agreements. Coordinate and partner with other internal functional disciplines. Summarize complex contractual issues, develop creative solutions, and coordinate contractual risk mitigation. Strong communication and presentation skills. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Willing to travel domestically up to 10% (short trips a few times per year). 1+ years of experience with contracts, legal, and/or procurement. 1+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating commercial and/or government contracts. Experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions. Experience working with geographically dispersed teams. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines. 1+ years of experience with proposal management, strategy development, and/or contract negotiations. 1+ years of experience using analytical, collaborative, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations (DFAR) or legal terms and conditions in a contract. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary base pay range: $61,000 – $79,400.
