Staff Pharmacist - Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a dynamic retail setting supporting a diverse patient population in Cleveland, OH. This 4-6 week contract assignment offers an opportunity to deliver compassionate, patient-focused consultations to individuals managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple sclerosis.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive medication reviews and counseling tailored to patients with advanced chronic conditions.
Utilize Pioneer Rx software to accurately dispense medications and maintain patient records.
Engage empathetically with Medicare/Medicaid and low-income patients, many with low literacy levels, ensuring understanding and adherence.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and medication management.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Licensed pharmacist with experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings.
Strong patient consultation skills, particularly with chronic disease management.
Proficient in Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with low-literacy populations.
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Cleveland, OH

This is a contract position expected to last 4 to 6 weeks, or until a permanent solution is established. The role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable patients while utilizing your clinical expertise.
