Overview
Registered Nurse - ICU in a hospital setting located in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 13 contract weeks. Weekly pay: $2,141–$2,212 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36.0 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights. This travel assignment requires ICU experience and may involve floating to other ICUs and med-surg units as staffing needs arise.

Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the adult and geriatric population in the ICU, applying standards of nursing practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Develop and revise individualized plans of care, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and delegate appropriate activities to other care providers.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage post-operative and critical care needs, and contribute to rapid decision-making within the ICU team.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic) and ensure timely communication with patients, families, and the care team.
- Potentially float to other ICUs (e.g., TNICU, MICU) or med-surg units as staffing requires; maintain competence across units when floating.

Requirements
- Current Minnesota RN license (active)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience
- Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms; experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
- Epic experience required
- Adult and geriatric patient population experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting and float as needed
