End-to-End Clinical Supply Planner - R&D Operations

Job Overview Johnson & Johnson is seeking a R&D Operations professional specializing in Clinical Supply Operations. The role focuses on managing day‑to‑day activities of the Clinical Supplies department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and GMP standards, and delivering high‑quality clinical trial materials on time. Responsibilities Plan and manage the day‑to‑day activities of the Clinical Supplies department, including packaging, labeling, assembling, and shipping of clinical supplies used in trials. Maintain the department’s clinical supplies database records, evaluate protocols, code samples, and store approved materials. Comply with local regulatory and good manufacturing practices guidelines. Develop end-to-end supply plans for clinical compounds. Identify assumptions for Kit/DP/API supply plans through the cS&OP process. Create optimal end‑to‑end drug product and drug substance supply strategies that minimize waste while meeting trial timelines. Aggregate clinical demand across trials and non‑clinical demands to ensure timely delivery, testing, and release of clinical batches. Provide information to Supply Network Capacity Planners and Plant Schedulers to enable constrained master and detailed scheduling of batches in the CSC supply network. Drive structured improvements of functional processes in line with business or operational strategy. Ensure portfolio timelines and business performance goals, objectives, and metrics are achieved, maintaining consistency with GMP guidelines and other compliance requirements. Lead or support cross‑functional and cross‑departmental projects to improve business processes and tools. Minimum Qualifications At least 3 years of related experience. Bachelor’s Degree in business or science. Experience with supply planning processes such as inventory management, supply chain management, production planning, Lean and Six Sigma, and ERP systems (OMP, SAP R/3, or equivalent). Strong leadership skills, including managing complexity, conflict resolution, and identifying process gaps based on data or root‑cause analysis. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills for all organizational levels in both written and oral forms. Ability to work independently, multi‑task, and manage complexity. Innate drive to make a difference and achieve results. Continuous improvement mindset and innovative thinking to identify opportunities and business needs. Preferred: Insight into a clinical supply environment in a pharmaceutical industry, familiarity with Q&C requirements, and experience with GMP and/or Quality management systems.
