Description: Number of beds: 19. Number of staff: 45 total unit staff. Day shift staff includes 3 RNs, 2 MH Techs, 1 US, 1 DC Planner, 1 Rec Therapist, and 2 Clinical Therapists. Night shift staff includes 3 RNs and 2 MH Techs. Patient ratios: 1:6 or 1:7. Some medical equipment used includes wheelchairs, cycler dialysis, and some wound vacs/dressings. Electronic medical record system: Meditech. Preferred experience includes medical experience and Meditech experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit include blood glucose checks, medication administration, assessments, and documentation. Dressing changes are rare. Possible floating to medical/surgical areas may occur.
