Production Manager

As the Production Manager, you will support a positive safety culture by planning and directing production activities and staff, you will lead the team in the manufacturing process to ensure quality and timely production.Job Location: Newton, IAWhat you'll do:Ensures that safety, health, and environmental legal and company standards are complied with, emphasizing safety as a top priorityMonitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards by developing and reviewing reports and metricsCoordinates plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective mannerDevelops systems and sets performance targets and measures that appropriately assess the performance of the plant and direct reports, and reviews progress to ensure achievement of targetsTrain, instruct and direct work activities of employees; identify succession role requirements and high potential talent, and actively trains key talentMonitors schedule to accomplish manufacturing goalsDemonstrate and model the highest ethical standards and treat all employees and coworkers with dignity and respect.
