Are you passionate about helping children thrive while leading a dedicated team of youth development professionals? The Sonoma County Family YMCA is seeking an inspiring and organized ASES Site Director to lead our After School Education & Safety (ASES) program at Thomas Page Elementary School.

As the ASES Site Director, you'll oversee the daily operations of a dynamic before and after-school program serving elementary-aged youth. You'll lead and support a team that may include an Assistant Director, Program Leaders, and Program Aides while creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and belong. 

• Lead and mentor a team of youth development professionals.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
• Implement engaging academic enrichment and recreational programming.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, school staff, and community partners.
• Ensure program quality, safety, and compliance with YMCA and ASES standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the YMCA, school administration, custodial staff, and parents/guardians.
• Foster staff growth through coaching, training, and ongoing support. 

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about youth development.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience in education, school-age childcare, youth development, or related fields.
• Ability to pass DOJ, FBI, and sex offender screening requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. 

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
• Spanish language skills. 

This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule. Site Directors may be required to work as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 6:00 PM depending on program needs.
