Senior Accounts Payable Analyst
Virtual Vocations Inc
Focusing on process improvement and operational efficiency, the full-time Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will enhance accounts payable operations through process analysis, audit support, and cross-functional project collaboration in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Develop and evaluate accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external controls Provide leadership and training to team members while supporting cross-training initiatives Assist with audits by supplying requested information and collaborating with management to resolve issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of relevant experience Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday or similar financial systems) Strong knowledge of AP compliance, including 1099 reporting and unclaimed property processes
