Job Summary:
This position is for a Surgical Technician (Surgical Tech I) located in Neptune, New Jersey. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves handling instruments, maintaining proper sterilization procedures, and providing patient-specific care in a Level 1 trauma center environment. The schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and three 12-hour shifts.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program or appropriate training program; Professional certification by the American Society of Surgical Technologists (AST); No minimum years of experience specified; Location in Neptune, New Jersey; Shift time from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; Minimum hours per week is 36.0.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week, with weekends and holidays required.
• Required Qualifications: "INSTRUMENT CLEANING", "INSTRUMENT HANDLING", "SPECIMEN HANDLING", "CONTAMINATION CONTROL", "DECONTAMINATION"
• Additional Information: Candidates will perform sterile processing, assist in ensuring patient safety, and work as part of a surgical team in a trauma setting, with the need to comply with hospital policies related to sterilization, contamination control, and specimen handling.
