Lead Financial Strategy & Operational Excellence Are you a seasoned automotive accounting professional ready to take the next step in your career? Join our dynamic dealership team as a Controller, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. As the Controller, you’ll be the financial steward of the dealership—providing insightful analysis, maintaining robust controls, and ensuring accurate reporting across all departments. You’ll collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, and department leaders to shape the financial health and future of the business. What You’ll Do Lead the full accounting function and financial reporting for the dealership. Prepare and analyze complete financial statements; submit timely reports to manufacturers and management. Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Manage month-end close processes with precision and accuracy. Safeguard dealership assets through strong internal controls and risk management. Partner with department managers to interpret financials and develop actionable strategies for improvement. Support corporate initiatives and contribute to business growth through cost control and revenue optimization. Mentor and develop accounting team members to achieve performance goals and foster a culture of excellence. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience. Deep expertise in CDK software, manufacturer reporting, bank/floorplan reconciliations, and general ledger management. Proficiency in M365. Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, month-end close, and tax filings. Proven leadership and supervisory experience. Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. High integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Why Join Us?
