About This Opportunity Join our team as a Mortgage Processor and play a key role in helping borrowers achieve homeownership. You'll manage loans from application through closing, working closely with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party partners to keep every file moving efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Manage residential mortgage loans from application through closing, ensuring a smooth and timely process. Review and verify loan documentation, including income, assets, and supporting financial records, for accuracy and compliance. Prepare and submit complete loan packages to underwriting and work to clear outstanding conditions. Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to keep loans on schedule. Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate records in Encompass, and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful loan closings. Location and Schedule This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our Fort Lauderdale HQ. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience. Experience processing Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans. Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines, documentation requirements, and compliance standards. Proven ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service. Associate's degree (required) or 0-2 years of professional experience.
