JAX FISH HOUSE & OYSTER BAR – BARTENDER

Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar is looking for experienced bar pros who thive on making memories for our guests through the art of Bartending...this is not just creating spectacular, delicious and exciting beverages...but more - you'll be the ringleader, the story teller, the listener and the curator of the best bar dining experience...ever.

Jax brings the coast to the coast-less. Inspired by the timeless fish houses of the East, West, and Gulf shorelines, we create incredible memories and share delicious food and drink with friends and family.  We are a neighborhood seafood bar with a wild vibe of rocks popping, drinks shaking, pots and pans clattering from the counter bar, and laughter a happening. This is a scene you want to be a part of, and a spot you won’t want to leave. 

Our Bartenders are the curators of our guests’ impression at Jax , responsible for dispensing hospitality, knowledge and guiding our guests through the dining experience. Must be detail oriented and well versed in proper steps of service and etiquette, in addition to possessing excellent communication skills and thriving in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Candidates should be experts in food and wine service, be eager to learn, jump into any service role needed, cool under pressure and adaptable. 

Servers - Here’s the Skinny:

• Full-Time or Part-Time (full-availability: nights & weekends)
• 2 Years Experience
• Sommelier and/or Cicerone Certification a plus
• Team Service Tip Pool Model (we share tips among all hourly employees!)
• Start earning $24 - $30 per hour with tips and the opportunity to earn more!
• Paid Sick Time
• Tips and/or Responsible Alcohol Service Certification (we’ll provide training!)
