Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, delivering high-acuity nursing services across assigned shifts
• May be required to float to like units or lower-acuity units across multiple campuses as needed (excluding the ED)
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the associated holiday weekend
• Complete all assigned non-billable compliance modules by the designated deadline each week
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in ICU specialty
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO); no new RTO requests after submittal
• 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
• Must not live within 100 miles of the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across ICU, SDU, and Telemetry units
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
• Prompt interview availability, including time zone, within the same day and next 3 business days
