What You'll Do

• Support rehabilitative and skilled treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assist with patient ambulation and use of assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in electronic records.
• Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and required trainings.
• Support in obtaining necessary supplies/durable medical equipment.
• Supervise and mentor students under PT supervision.

What You Need

• Required:
• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Ability to perform manual therapy, exercises, and assistive device management
• Strong communication skills in a multidisciplinary team
• Preferred:
• Experience working in LTC or similar healthcare environments
• Familiarity with documentation systems and regulatory requirements
