Bowline Marinas owns and operates 11 marinas across Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina

and North Carolina, from the Florida Keys to the Neuse River, including three inland lake properties.

Our marinas offer wet slips, dry-stack storage, boat clubs, fuel, ship stores and marine service. Our

teams deliver safe, reliable, member-first service on the water every day.

Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a marina and boat storage facility within Bowline Capital’s portfolio. This role manages staff scheduling and performance, ensures high standards of customer service, and oversees leasing, maintenance, safety, and compliance with local regulations. The General Manager monitors financial performance, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and expense management, and implements operational improvements aligned with the firm’s data-driven strategy. The role also involves coordinating with ownership on capital projects, lead generation and marketing initiatives, and long-term asset planning, while maintaining clear reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership skills, including team management, staffing, and performance oversight.
• Financial management capabilities in budgeting, revenue optimization, cost control, and basic financial analysis.
• Experience with facilities operations, including maintenance coordination, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Customer service and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships with tenants, guests, and vendors.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple operational priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including professional documentation and reporting.
• Comfort working with data and technology tools for scheduling, billing, and operational performance tracking.
• Prior experience as a Marina Operations Manager or General Manager is preferred. Experience within hospitality, property management, or related operational industries will also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, hospitality management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on-site including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs require.
