NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team in Columbus. This full-time, on-site role is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a polished casual dining environment. In this vital role, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will collaborate closely with chefs and staff to create a dynamic menu that delights our guests, while also managing inventory and adhering to health and safety regulations. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 annually, with opportunities for growth and professional development within our expanding organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff management
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Develop and implement menu items in collaboration with chefs
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control
- Train and mentor kitchen staff for performance and development
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance guest experiences
Requirements
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a kitchen management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
