Contract Duration: 13 weeks + Possibilities of Extension

Pay: $27 - $28/hourly

Schedule: 40 hours/week | 5×8-hour shifts

Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 (Day)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Travel Medical Assistant to support team across our Newton, MA location. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist providers with clinical procedures, and help ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document patients’ vital signs accurately.
• Administer injections and immunizations according to established protocols.
• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Review and update medical histories and patient information.
• Prepare patients for examinations and minor office procedures.
• Perform EKGs and other routine clinical tasks as assigned.
• Apply knowledge of medical terminology when communicating with patients and clinical staff.
• Assist providers and the care team with day-to-day clinical needs.
• Maintain an efficient patient flow and help minimize wait times.

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of recent/current Medical Assistant experience.
• Current Medical Assistant certification.
