About the Position-

Automated Building Control Solutions is looking for an experienced Customer Service Dispatcher to join our team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position that requires someone who can stay organized, think on their feet, communicate clearly, and keep things moving when priorities change throughout the day.

If you enjoy a busy workday, solving problems, helping customers, and coordinating multiple moving pieces at once, you may be a great fit for this position.

This is not a slow-paced customer service role. Our dispatcher is an important part of the daily operation and must be comfortable handling competing priorities, unexpected changes, and time-sensitive requests while maintaining a professional attitude.

What You'll Do-

• Coordinate and manage daily schedules for service technicians
• Communicate with customers regarding service calls, scheduling, and updates
• Answer phones and respond to customer and technician needs promptly and professionally
• Monitor and adjust schedules as priorities change throughout the day
• Coordinate service calls, materials, and other resources needed by technicians
• Work closely with technicians, customers, vendors, and internal staff
• Enter and maintain accurate information in company systems
• Assist with purchasing and ordering materials as needed
• Follow up on outstanding issues and make sure requests do not fall through the cracks
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
• Provide clear communication and documentation throughout the service process
• Identify problems and take initiative to resolve them rather than waiting for someone else to step in

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, proactive, and able to stay calm when things get busy.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous dispatch, scheduling, customer service, or similar experience
• Be comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-changing environment
• Be able to prioritize multiple tasks and determine what needs attention first
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be comfortable speaking with customers and handling difficult or frustrated customers professionally
• Have a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
• Be detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture
• Be able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Be comfortable changing priorities throughout the day
• Be dependable and consistent with attendance and punctuality
• Be comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems
• Be a team player who communicates well with others
