Senior Fund Accountant

Insight Global are seeking a Senior/VP Private Equity Fund Accounting professional to join a large, global financial services client. This role will support a growing fund accounting function focused on private equity and hedge fund structures, with exposure to complex funds and high-impact client relationships. This position requires 4 days onsite in Lake Mary, FL . Overview This role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end fund accounting services across a portfolio of investment funds. You will play a key part in NAV production, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, while also collaborating closely with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders. Depending on experience, this role can include leadership responsibilities such as managing and developing team members, overseeing workflows, and driving operational improvements. Key Responsibilities Perform and/or oversee NAV calculations, fund accounting records, and reconciliations Prepare and review financial statements and investor reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory standards Manage relationships with clients and external auditors Resolve complex accounting issues and provide technical guidance Support process improvements and automation initiatives, including AI integration where applicable Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development (role dependent) Assist with resource planning and operational oversight across multiple funds Must-Have Requirements Strong experience in fund accounting across private equity and/or hedge funds Hands-on experience with fund accounting platforms such as Investran, Advent Geneva, or similar Ability to manage deadlines, multiple priorities, and complex fund structures Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards Plusses Include Background with a large accounting or professional services firm Exposure to automation or AI-driven solutions within accounting workflows Prior experience managing or mentoring team members #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
