We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a pediatric urologist to join our expanding academic program in Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will become part of a physician-led healthcare organization that serves nearly 3 million individuals.
Hospital Highlights:- Over 500 beds and designated as a level 1 trauma center
- Recognized as one of the top 100 hospitals
- The main campus is undergoing a significant transformation with an $880 million investment, which includes an 11-story patient tower at the entrance, aimed at modernizing clinical facilities and improving care delivery.
- This upgrade will enhance emergency, ICU, and surgical capacities, featuring a new emergency department that is twice the size, along with upgraded operating rooms and intensive care units to facilitate collaborative care.
- Offers more than 30 medical residency programs across various specialties, including urology.
- Dedicated 100% pediatric urology role
- The urology department comprises over 20 urologists within the system, including one other pediatric urologist and a dedicated physician assistant.
- On-call responsibilities will involve eight weekdays each month and one weekend.
- Robotic surgery capabilities are available, although prior experience or interest in robotics is not mandatory.
- The urologist will have the opportunity to work with and mentor urology residents.
- Research opportunities are accessible.
- Attractive compensation package, including student loan repayment, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. Training stipends are also available for residents and fellows.
