Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with Special Education credentials
• 459 Endorsement and CDC certification required
• Experience working with PreK students in a special education setting preferred
• Understanding of individualized instruction and differentiation
• Strong communication skills with parents, students, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Implement evidence-based behavioral and instructional strategies
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt instructional methods accordingly
• Collaborate with related service providers, administrators, and family members
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and data as required
• Foster a classroom culture of inclusion, respect, and high expectations
