Project Cost Controller

Our client, a well-known electric and gas provider, is actively hiring a Cost Technician to join their team in Valparaiso, IN! This role will be hybrid and requires 3x a week onsite.

*This is a 1 year W2 contract with benefits offered!*

In this role, you will maintai n multiple project cost control data files for detailed and summary-level information on projects throughout various stages of the project's life cycle. You will process project timesheets, ensure the accuracy of invoices, and obtain payment approval for those from project managers.

Responsibilities:

• Establish lines of communication with various departments
• Communicate wit h suppliers, project staff, and other stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist in annual budget development, preparation, and associated reporting
• Perform standard project and special project cost reporting as required by the project stakeholders

Skills:

• High school diploma required
• 5+ years of experience
• Prior experience working with timesheet-related data
