Quality Inspector

Job Title

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications

Perform visual, functional and dimensional inspections across all stages of production

Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

Corrects or escalates quality or compliance concerns

Follows all Tyber Medical, LLC Standard Operating Procedures

Responsible for preventative maintenance activities

Other Duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications: Basic understanding of using calipers, micrometers, hard gauging and other applicable inspection tools.

Basic working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions

Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent organizational skills

Language and mathematical skills/Reasoning ability:

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
