CAD Designer - ETOLocation: Houston, Texas, 77072Employment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer - ETO to join our client's team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to creating and checking drawings/designs, preparing bulk MTOs and detailed BOMs, and ensuring compliance with engineering and QA/QC standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide and check drawings/BOM as per customer requirements.Prepare bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs independently.Ensure drawings follow the Engineering and QA/QC standards.Supervise the outsourcing of engineering design work to third-party firms.RequirementsMastery knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, PDF Editor, Solid Works, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manager/Freedom.A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work.Technical Certification in the design discipline or a minimum of 10 years of experience.Fluency, both written and verbal, in English.Preferred Qualifications (if any)Experience with high-density data centers and hyperscale environments.Operational knowledge in SAP, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk BIM 360.Hybrid Work ModelHybrid work model with in-office days on Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday.Who We AreSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
