About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an early-stage AI company led by founders who have already built and scaled a category-defining enterprise software business. Their platform monitors a company's revenue data around the clock, spots costly problems before anyone notices, and acts on them. Now they're building their US sales engine, and they want a founding-level Business Development Representative in New York to help lead the charge.

There's no script waiting for you here. The lists, the messaging and the sequences are yours to build alongside leadership, and you'll help define how prospecting gets done as the team grows. We back this expectation with a $70,000 Base and a $100,000 OTE. If you want real ownership at a company on a steep trajectory, this is the seat.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the Outbound Engine: Create target lists, messaging and sequences from scratch, then run them across phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Open Enterprise Doors: Book qualified meetings with data and revenue leaders at large, high-volume businesses.
• Bring a Point of View: Report back on what's working and what isn't, and use your activity to shape the strategy.
• Lead from the Front: Act as a player-coach as the BDR function grows, setting the standard for activity and quality.

Qualifications

• The Experience: 1–3 years in outbound prospecting or business development, ideally in B2B software. You've hit a number and can explain how.
• Competitive Background: Former collegiate or professional athletes and military veterans thrive here. Your discipline and drive to win are your resume.
• The Execution: Comfortable building without a playbook and turning cold outreach into real conversations with senior buyers.
• The Mindset: Self-directed, curious about AI and data, and eager to own outcomes, not just activity.
