Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with 2-7+ years of experience in energy-related sectors for their engineering, procurement, and construction transactions practice in Santa Monica, CA. The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects both domestically and internationally. Duties Draft and negotiate EPC, O&M, procurement, and other construction-related contracts. Engage in transactions for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. Collaborate with a global team of attorneys dedicated to the energy sector. Requirements 2 to 7+ years of experience in construction law. Highly motivated with excellent academic credentials. Strong communication skills. Membership in the state bar of the office location is required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications State Bar membership in good standing. Skills Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex contracts. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
