Retention Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a full-time Retention Marketing Coordinator to join our fully remote team. This role is responsible for the scheduling, creation, execution, and analysis of email and SMS marketing initiatives. Our coordinators work closely with all members of the Sticky Digital team to increase sales and engagement through retention marketing. The Retention Marketing Coordinator will run email and SMS programs end to end, including planning, creative briefing, scheduling, segmentation, testing, and execution.

We are fully remote and always have been, so you can work from wherever you are, but core hours for this role are 9:00am to 5:00pm PST, Monday through Friday. You need to be online and available during those hours to support client sends, internal reviews, and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with email strategists, project managers, graphic designers, and product development teams to create and deliver compelling email communications for various audiences, including newsletters, customer surveys, sales promotions, and more
• Oversee daily email operations to ensure that emails are completed and deployed on time through ESPs (Klaviyo, SMSBump, Attentive, HubSpot, etc.)
• Daily monitoring of campaign and delivery performance
• Segment email lists and develop systems for nurturing campaigns to various audiences
• Manage subscriber database to grow the email list and improve response
• Measure the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns and monitor subscriptions to continually improve ROI from email marketing efforts
• Assist in writing and editing copy for email and SMS
• Analyze analytics and generate performance reports

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on building experience in Klaviyo, including flows, campaigns, segments, templates, and reporting
• Experience building and managing SMS programs in Attentive, Postscript, or SMSBump
• Experience writing and editing email and SMS copy
• Working HTML and CSS skills, including the ability to troubleshoot rendering issues and edit template code directly
• Strong understanding of CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and deliverability best practices
• Experience with Yotpo, HubSpot, Shopify, and Asana
• A track record of segmentation and A/B testing that moved performance, with results you can speak to specifically
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to pull reporting and draw a clear conclusion from it
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills across multiple client accounts
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Availability 9:00am to 5:00pm PST, Monday through Friday
