Summary
Directs team of management and provides direction to staff within Environmental Services and Laundry departments. Oversees staff scheduling, maintaining policies and procedures while mentoring and developing the team. Ensures the departments operate within budget and controls spending.

Job Duties

• Collaborates with departments to create systems and problem solve ongoing issues that impact goals and/or patient care delivery.
• Coordinates the department's quality assurance program.
• Defines performance objectives and metrics for the departments and assesses the level of competence of staff.
• Provides leadership and guidance to other leaders and staff in goal setting, problem-solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.
• Maintains all departmental productivity measurements and provides monthly status reports.
• Reviews and updates policy and procedure manuals for all departments annually.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years experience leading and directing a team in a related field.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
