This role also involves guiding risk management for various assets, contracts, and compliance with accounting standards, and directing high-level information technology policy to ensure data security and reliable systems. The CFO will provide executive leadership on strategy and planning, working closely with leaders across all departments to align financial goals with business needs. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a strong command of financial planning, accounting rules, tax matters, and internal control practices. A proven track record in designing and improving policies, procedures, and systems for efficiency is essential, as is the ability to evaluate risk and set mitigation plans.
