You'll oversee daily AP operations, manage high-volume invoice processing (including farming operations, raw materials, packaging, freight, and services), ensure accurate reconciliations and payments, mentor AP staff, and drive process improvements in a dynamic agricultural and manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, including processing high-volume invoices for farming operations, raw materials, packaging, freight, and services Manage weekly check runs, perform reconciliations and review and resolve 3-way match exceptions Prepare AP accruals, monthly account reconciliations, KPI reports, and support month-end close processes Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to AP Specialists while acting as the primary escalation point for internal departments and vendors Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Receiving, and Treasury teams to resolve vendor discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency Support audits, ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected leader in food production where your Accounts Payable expertise and leadership skills will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
