Job Description
You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position. HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an exceptional physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to join us as Medical Director of an existing program Qualified Candidates:
• Board eligible / board certified in PM&R
• Inpatient focus
• Full-time position with Medical Directorship duties
• Provide leadership and direction for existing rehabilitation program
• Cover 20-bed acute inpatient rehab unit located within Panama City Beach, Florida
• CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities) is accredited and ranks in the top 5 for quality outcomes in all of HCA (71 rehab programs)
• A dedicated group of trained therapy and nursing staff including certified rehab nurses
• We treat general acute rehab patients including but not limited to stroke, orthopedic, multiple trauma, amputation, neurological conditions, and debility patients
• Can do consults in hospitals or nursing homes, if interested Incentive/Benefits Package:

• Certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation
• The hospital offers other quality services including orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, and cardiac, vascular, and interventional services.
