We are partnering with a growing national distribution company that is looking to add an experienced FP&A Manager to its Finance team near Pomona, CA. This is a high-visibility role supporting executive leadership, Sales, Operations, and multiple locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis supporting Sales, Operations, and location-level profitability
• Analyze business performance, value creation initiatives, KPI trends, and operational results
• Provide insight to leadership on key drivers of monthly financial performance
• Support preparation of executive-level reporting materials
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, reporting methods, and targets
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, variances, and root causes
• Prepare variance analysis and research financial irregularities
• Support monthly financial close analysis as needed
• Partner with Sales and Operations leaders on annual budgeting inputs, including volume, pricing, net sales, and operating costs
• Prepare monthly and annual reporting decks for executive and board-level meetings
• Participate in annual budgeting and strategic planning processes
• Support capital expenditure review, including ROI and payback analysis
• Interpret market data and provide recommendations to Sales leadership
• Build financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends
• Review market analytics to support business strategy
• Coach business partners on financial acumen and decision-making
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of related finance, FP&A, or financial analysis experience
• Experience supporting multiple business functions preferred
• Private equity-backed company experience preferred
• ERP system experience required
• NAV experience preferred
• Workday Adaptive experience a plus
• Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and complex modeling
• Experience with three-statement models preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working independently, digging into details, and meeting deadlines
• Prior people leadership experience preferred

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based with exposure to warehouse/distribution environments as needed. Occasional travel may be required. Some flexibility may be considered after initial onboarding.
