As part of our rural health hospital, float pool staff play a vital role in driving process improvements and contributing to meaningful change across. How You'll Contribute Supervise and coordinate care in a manner to ensure that patient needs are provided in an efficient manner and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Possess the knowledge to safely apply theory and practice using the Nursing Process of Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. Ability to work with all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Ability to work with Paragon applications (Electronic Medical Record), as well as other computer systems for patient care. Professional Development Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What We're Looking For Applicants should have a current VA or compact RN license. Additional Requirements Include Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS, PALS & Advanced Stroke course are required within 6 months of hire. Trauma Nurse Core course (TNCC) preferred. At least two (2) years of clinical experience is required in Critical Care, ED, PACU or similar. Must respond within 60 minutes if placed on call.
