Overview Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join this highly collegial department! Mount Sinai South Nassau (MSSN) is an award-winning, acute care, not-for-profit teaching hospital located in Oceanside, New York. The Division of vascular surgery is seeking full time vascular surgeon who is BE /BC to perform the full breadth of vascular surgical procedures and endo- vascular interventions. The individual is expected to teach residents and students. He or she should have outstanding clinical and teaching skills with a commitment to excellence and diversity. The Vascular Surgeon will join two full time MSSN has a fully accredited-vascular lab ICAVL, a state of the art interventional suite, and a Vascular Access program. There is great collegiality between the practitioners and support among the specialists and administration. MSSN is a level II verified trauma center with approximately 65,000 ED visits annually. Designated a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care, MSSN also offers Novalis Tx™ and Gamma Knife® radiosurgery technologies, and operates the only Trauma Center on the South Shore of Nassau County verified by the American College of Surgeons.
