What You'll Do:
  • Provide expert critical care to ICU patients, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Adhere to facility protocols, respecting patient privacy and dignity
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC or other designated systems
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-discharge care
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Lead and delegate tasks within the nursing team while managing resources effectively
What You Need:
  • Current RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
  • BLS, ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification (12-month Blue Card) from Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
