Certifications/License:
- CBSPD, IAHCSMM or CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
- SPT Lead Nights
- 22:00-06:30 Mon-Fri with occasional holidays
- 4 years experience
- Previous leadership or charge experience needed
- Certs Required: HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD
- Responsibilities
- Lead daily sterile processing operations while supporting department workflow.
- Coordinate the preparation, decontamination, sterilization, assembly, packaging, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Ensure all instrumentation is properly cleaned, sterilized, and functioning before patient use.
- Support quality initiatives, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor staff and assist with workflow coordination.
- Utilize Censitrac and other documentation systems to maintain instrument tracking and quality standards.
