Estimator

We are partnering with a rapidly growing mission-critical infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Estimator to support the pursuit and delivery of large-scale hyperscale and enterprise data center projects across North America. This is an opportunity to join an organization at the forefront of data center development, specializing in modular power, electrical infrastructure, and mission-critical systems for some of the world's largest technology companies. The Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for complex electrical and MEP scopes, supporting projects from preconstruction through award. Key Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed project estimates Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures Support bid reviews, proposals, and scope clarifications Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams Maintain estimating databases and current market pricing Ideal Background Estimating experience within electrical, MEP, mission-critical, industrial, or data center construction Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, critical power infrastructure, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and cooling systems Experience preparing estimates for large-scale construction projects valued at $10M+ Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, Bluebeam, and takeoff tools Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Data center, mission-critical, power generation, or industrial construction experience highly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
