About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Investments to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the identification of new acquisition and development opportunities, with a primary focus on the Central US, particularly the Texas markets. This role is pivotal in the comprehensive process of new acquisitions and developments, including sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating, due diligence, and closing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years' of experience in real estate acquisitions, preferably in the industrial or logistics sector, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Investments include providing leadership in deal procurement, underwriting, and negotiation, as well as overseeing the due diligence process and preparing investment committee memos. The role also involves executing post-acquisition strategies, communicating with various stakeholders, and assisting in quarterly asset valuations. The candidate should possess expert-level financial modeling skills in Excel and Argus Enterprise, and demonstrate strong organizational, attention to detail, and negotiating abilities. A strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision are also required.
