Commercial Credit QC Analyst

Our client is a global financial services institution, operating across major operational hubs in the United States. Position Summary Join the Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) team within Commercial Banking. As a Credit Proposal Quality Control Specialist, you will be ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and quality. You will be responsible for performing detailed quality reviews on credit proposals for new or existing credit facilities. Your main objective will be to evaluate, identify, and report any inconsistencies between supporting documentation and the data entered into the credit risk system. Key responsibilities Quality Assurance: Perform quality reviews across key credit processes, focusing primarily on credit proposals. Data Verification: Analyze facility setups in iCRD to ensure strict alignment with supporting documentation. Risk & Control: Ensure proper controls are updated and maintained to minimize operating risk; assist with the implementation of CORE. Queue Management: Monitor and manage production queues, exception reporting, and KPIs to ensure timely, accurate action on all team requests. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Credit, Control, and Technology teams to drive database functionality and process improvements. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare ad hoc reports for audits, control organizations, or business partners, and research data for various specialized projects. Policy Application: Interpret credit approval requirements in relation to Credit Risk Policies and apply them consistently to daily activities. Participate in internal working groups and discussions to represent the QC team and drive overall quality environment improvements within WLS. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of financial services, audit, accounting control, regulatory, compliance, or equivalent experience is preferred Working knowledge of credit products such as revolving lines of credit, term loans, commercial cards, letters of credit. Financial services industry knowledge with regulatory practices, including lending, loan processing, and support operations. High accuracy and a sharp attention to detail. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to probe sensitive issues objectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven decision-making skills and the ability to multitask under shifting deadlines. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Familiarity with proprietary systems: iCRD, Party Central, I-Vault, DealWorks, or CRRT.
