Job Title: Assembly Technician – Fluid Handling Systems Job Description

The Assembly Technician builds, tests, and prepares fluid-handling components and systems for industrial applications in a fast-paced, climate-controlled production environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precise attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions and engineering documentation while operating a variety of hand and power tools.

• Assemble components, fittings, hoses, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures to ensure consistent quality and performance of fluid-handling systems.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for accuracy, defects, and proper fit, using measurement devices and visual checks.
• Document inspection results clearly and report any issues, defects, or nonconformances to the appropriate team members.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and other assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform mechanical and basic electrical assembly tasks as required for fluid-handling components and systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment, meeting daily output and quality targets.
• Collaborate with production team members to resolve assembly issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical assembly in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools, including crimpers and measurement devices.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and proper fit of assembled components.
• Capability to perform both mechanical and basic electrical assembly tasks.
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions and established production procedures.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Experience assembling fluid-handling components, hoses, fittings, or similar industrial products is a plus.
• Prior work in a production or manufacturing setting with climate-controlled facilities is beneficial.
• Familiarity with inspection and documentation practices for quality control.
• Strong communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
• Reliability and punctuality for early morning, weekday shift work.

This role is based in a climate-controlled production facility, providing a comfortable and consistent working temperature throughout the year. The position operates on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., supporting work-life balance with predictable daytime hours. The environment involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and measurement devices at dedicated assembly stations. Safety procedures are well established, and the workspace is organized to support efficient assembly and inspection activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa,OK.
